Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party 2018!

Halloween is one of the most fun days of the year for both kids and kids at heart!  Being able to transform into a beautiful princess, your favorite superhero, or even Mickey Mouse and going trick-or-treating is what many kids look forward to all year!  Now imagine celebrating this fun and festive night along with some of your favorite Disney characters at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween only at Magic Kingdom!

2018 Dates for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

You can be one of the spooktactular guests to celebrate Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween on select enchanted evenings at Magic Kingdom after the park closes to regular guests!  This event will be held for 34 select nights in August, September, and October and is sure to be a big hit with kids of all ages!

The 2018 dates are as follows:

  • August: 17, 24, 28, 31
  • September: 3, 7, 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
  • October: 2, 4, 5, 8, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21, 23, 25, 26, 28, 30, 31

The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet

The Cadaver Dans Barbershop Quartet will be wandering throughout Frontierland dreadfully entertaining guests by singing some of their most ghastly tunes including “Grim Grinning Ghosts”, the featured song from the Haunted Mansion!

Trick-or-Treat Throughout the Park

Ghouls and gals of all ages can goblin up various sweet treats and ghastly snacks by trick-or-treating at various designated areas throughout Magic Kingdom!

Food Allergies?

What about people with food allergies?  Can they participate in the trick-or-treat fun?  Of course!

Guests with food allergies can pick up a teal-colored treat bag from a Disney Cast Member.  These bags are available at any treat location and at the official Allergy-Friendly Centers located at Town Square Theater (near Tony’s Town Square Restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A.) and Liberty Square Ticket Office (near The Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square).

When you trick-or-treat with your teal bag, Cast Members will give you a teal token at any treat station.  You can redeem your teal tokens at the Allergy-Friendly Centers to receive your special treats!

Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular

Special events for these nights include the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular stage show in front of Cinderella Castle.  This wickedly show features the devilishly wicked Sanderson sisters from the Disney film Hocus Pocus.  Dr. Facilier, Oogie Boogie and Maleficent among other Disney villainous characters join the Sanderson sisters for a must-see Halloween show!

Scream-o-Ween Dance Party

That’s not all!  There will be a Scream-o-Ween Dance Party where guests can get down and boogie with their favorite characters from Monster Inc.  Join Mike and Sully at Tomorrowland for a one-of-a-kind dance party!

Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade

Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade is a spooktacular parade of Disney characters in Halloween costumes lead by the Headless Horseman!  Watch your favorite Disney characters in spooky Halloween costumes, a collection of frightening floats, ghastly stars from Haunted Mansion, and more.  You will have a scare-tastic time!

Happy HalloWishes Fireworks

And, capping off the night is Happy HalloWishes, the spectacular fireworks show led by the infamous Disney villains!  Enjoy if you dare a fireworks set to a wicked version of melodies from Disney’s past as creepy colors crawl over Cinderella Castle.

Happy HalloWishes includes a Disney soundtrack of creepy classics including:

  • “Grim Grinning Ghosts” – from the Haunted Mansion attraction
  • “Poor Unfortunate Souls” – from The Little Mermaid
  • “Never Smile at a Crocodile” – from Peter Pan
  • “The Skeleton Dance” – from Silly Symphony – The Skeleton Dance
  • “Who’s Afraid of the Big, Bad Wolf?” – from The Three Little Pigs
  • “Oogie Boogie’s Song” – from The Nightmare Before Christmas
  • “Night on Bald Mountain” – from Fantasia

Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can be purchased at Disney World’s event site.  Tickets for this one-of-a-kind park event start at $85 per adult and $80 per child (ages 3-9) plus tax, but you can save $10 on your tickets when you purchase at least a day in advance!  Prices vary based on event night and $10 advance purchase discount available for all event dates except October 31, 2018, when full day-of purchase price will apply.
