What Is Disney’s Magical Express Service?
Disney’s Magical Express Service is a complimentary bus service for guests flying into Orlando International Airport who are staying at select Disney World Resorts. Passengers flying in on domestic flights can skip having to rent a car or relying on taxis to get them to their resort! Simply board the bus and you and your family will be just a short trip away from your resort destination! Guests can also skip the baggage claim and have your bags delivered directly to your room a short time later. Guests who reserve this complimentary service will also enjoy a complimentary ride back to Orlando International Airport on the day you check out of your Disney Resort hotel.

How Do I Reserve Disney’s Magical Express Service?
It is simple and easy to reserve your spot on Disney’s Magical Express Service! If you are booking your vacation online through Walt Disney World’s website simply select Add Ground transportation and select the complimentary Disney’s Magical Express Service. You have the option to select To my Disney World Resort, From my Disney World Resort, or both (To and From my Disney World Resort). You can even provide your flight information when selecting Disney’s Magical Express Service.
If you prefer to call to reserve your Disney’s Magical Express Service, guests arriving from the United States and Canada can call (407) 939-1936. Guests arriving from the United Kingdom can call 0800 16 90 730. Just make sure you have your flight information and arrival/departure time ready when calling! Please note: Disney’s Magical Express Service is only available for guests arriving at Orlando International Airport from 5:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern Time!
Where Is Disney’s Magical Express Service Located In The Airport?
Disney’s Magical Express Service check-in is located at the Ground Transportation Area on Side B, Level 1 of the terminal. There are many signs located around the airport to guide you to the Disney’s Magical Express Service! You can also download the Orlando International Airport App that has not only a map of the airport, but other handy airport information like flight information, food, and bathroom locations!
What About My Checked Luggage?
Once you have booked your reservation for Disney’s Magical Express Service, you will receive a package in the mail around 2 to 3 weeks before your Walt Disney World arrival date that include special Walt Disney World luggage tags. Use the special Walt Disney World luggage tags on any luggage you plan to check in with the airline.
Upon arrival at Orlando International Airport you can skip the baggage claim as your checked-in luggage will be taken care of by Disney’s Magical Express Service. Your luggage will magically arrive in your resort room a few hours later! You don’t have to be in your resort room either. The resort’s concierge will drop off your luggage inside your room. So you can start your Walt Disney World vacation right away!
If your luggage tags didn’t arrive before your trip and you are scheduled to arrive in Orlando between the hours of 5:00 AM and 10:00 PM just provide your baggage claim numbers at check-in to Disney’s Magical Express Service.
Please note: Guests arriving at Orlando International Airport between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM will need to proceed to baggage claim to claim their luggage.
How Do I Board Disney’s Magical Express Service?
One you arrive at the check-in desk at Disney’s Magical Express Service you will be greeted by a friendly Disney Cast Member who will welcome you to Orlando. Your entire party will need to scan their MagicBands to board the bus. Do not pack your MagicBands in your luggage! We recommend wearing your MagicBands before you get off the plane for a faster check-in process.
Once everyone is checked-in the Disney Cast Member will give inform you of the line to stand in that corresponds to your resort. Soon your bus will arrive and you will be on your way to your magical vacation!
Please note: If you have not received your MagicBands, please be prepared to present your Disney’s Magical Express Service documents (which will be mailed separately to you) to board the bus. You will receive your MagicBands upon arrival at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel.
How Long Is The Ride From The Airport To My Resort?
Once your bus arrives you will be greeted again by a friendly driver who will be happy to load your carry-ons below the bus while you sit back, relax, and watch an informational video. Depending on your resort destination it may take approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour to arrive at your resort.
Disney’s Magical Express Service bus may stop at multiple resorts, as many as 4 different resorts. Not to fret though! Each bus is equipped with very comfortable seats, air conditioning, and a bathroom! The drivers are very welcoming and accept gratuity for exceptional service!
Disney’s Magical Express Service drops you off at the main entrance of your resort. Your driver will remove your carry-on luggage from underneath the bus and then you will be free to head on into the lobby to complete your check-in!
If you have done Online Check-In you may receive a text with your room number once your room is ready and skip the front desk! If you do not receive a room number then proceed to the Online Check-In desk. A cast member will complete your check-in and you can proceed to your room!
It’s Time To Head Home
The day prior to your check-out, a Transportation Notice will be delivered to your room. It will include your scheduled pick-up date/time of your Disney’s Magical Express Service and your return flight information. The pick-up time will be 3 hrs ahead of your domestic flight and 4 hrs ahead of your international flight. Please arrive at least 15 minutes ahead of your pick-up time at the Disney’s Magical Express Service stop.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FROM DISNEY: To ensure that you do not miss your flight, motorcoach departure times are scheduled to allow time for you to travel to Orlando International Airport and proceed to your airline gate. Please note that it is your responsibility to bring your luggage to the departure point. Bell service luggage assistance is available upon request.
Be sure to have your Transportation Notice on hand when it’s time for your Disney’s Magical Express departure. Your motorcoach driver will collect the Transportation Notice prior to boarding. Please note: MagicBands cannot be used to check in for your trip from your Disney Resort hotel to Orlando International Airport.
