Minnie Van Service

Minnie Van Service Expands to Orlando International Airport!

If you’ve recently visited Walt Disney World Resort you may have noticed red vehicles with white polka dots around the property.  These new vehicles are called Minnie Vans and they transport guests around Walt Disney World Resort.  And now this service is expanding to Orlando International Airport!

Guests at Walt Disney World Resort property use the Lyft mobile app to arrange Minnie Van transportation.  For example, you can schedule transportation from the Lyft app to pick you up from Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and take you to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.  Minnie Van service was recently expanded to all guests at Walt Disney World Resort.

Now, guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel can use the Minnie Van service for travel from and to Orlando International Airport.  Lyft app cannot be used for service to and from Orlando International Airport.  Reservations can only be made in advance  by calling 407-WDW-PLAY.  Hours of operation for airport shuttle service is for flight arrivals between 7 AM to 10 PM and flight departures between 9 AM to 12 AM (midnight).

Minnie Vans can accommodate up to 6 passengers and 8 medium-sized suitcases.  The Minnie Vans can provide up to three complimentary car seats.  ADA accessible vehicles are available.

Minnie Vans are not a free service.  You will be quoted for the cost of service when you call 407-WDW-PLAY for Minnie Vans service.  The Minnie Van service is not replacing Disney’s Magical Express service which is free for guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

This service is great if you are traveling light and will like to head straight to the park, maybe dine and shop at Disney Springs, or visit another resort on property.  Your checked luggage will still be delivered to your resort room as long as you use the luggage tags provided by Walt Disney World Resort.
