Top 10 Things To Do at Magic Kingdom!

“I’m going to Disney World!”  Going to Disney World is on everyone’s bucket list.  When you think of Disney World you think of Magic Kingdom!  Many visit Magic Kingdom for the very first time while others have not visited in a long time.  If visiting Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World is on your vacation bucket list, here are 10 things you must do on your visit to Magic Kingdom!

10.  Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

Located in Tomorrowland is the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover!  This ride takes you on a tour high above Tomorrowland.  It is one of our must do’s because it has some of the most amazing views in all of Magic Kingdom!  The views at night are so beautiful, especially during Happily Ever After!  It is a family-friendly attraction where you can take a break from walking and enjoy the views!

9.  Dole Whip

Arguably one of the most iconic foods on all of Walt Disney World Resort property is the infamous Dole Whip!  You can find this delightful treat in Adventureland at Aloha Isle.  Mix it with vanilla or have it served in a float over pineapple juice, either way it will be so refreshing!

8.  Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar

It is no secret it can get really hot in Magic Kingdom, no mater the time of the year.  There are so many different treats available to help you cool off.  But in our opinion the best way and one of our must do’s is indulging in a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar!  It is a vanilla ice cream bar covered in chocolate and is available from different carts all over the park!

7.  Pirates of the Caribbean

This ride is located in the Adventureland section of Magic Kingdom.  It is a dark boat ride where guests visit different scenes, many inspired from the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, or is it the other way around?  We love this ride because you may get a little wet during a small drop and when cannons go off all around you!  Keep your eye out for that sneeky Jack Sparrow as he may pop up anywhere!  This is a family-friendly ride for guests of all ages.

6.  Haunted Mansion

The Haunted Mansion is located in the Liberty Square section of Magic Kingdom.  Guests ride on a Doom Buggy through an eerie haunted estate that is home to 999 happy haunts…but they have room for one more!  We love this ride because it has fun music and so many different spooky things for your eyes to see!  It is ideal for guests of all ages.

5.  Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train is one of 2 roller coasters centered around mining in Magic Kingdom.  The other is Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.  Based off of the movie Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, this ride takes guests deep into the mine with the Seven Dwarfs looking for treasure!  High-ho!  Off to Fantasyland you go if you want to “rock out” with the Seven Dwarfs!  This is a thrill ride with small drops and has a minimum requirement of 38 inches.  It is a great ride for everyone!

4.  Space Mountain

One of the most iconic rides in all of Disney World is Space Mountain!  Located in Tomorrowland, this ride will have you zipping through space, almost in complete darkness!  This ride is one of our must do’s for first timers, not just because it is one of the most iconic rides in Magic Kingdom, but because it is one of the most fun rides!  Space Mountain has a minimum height requirement of 44 inches.  This is an ideal ride for thrillseekers!

3.  Splash Mountain

Located in Frontierland in Magic Kingdom is the one and only Splash Mountain!  We love this ride not only because of the big splash at the end (spoiler alert!) but because it has the best of both worlds, it is part dark ride and part thrill ride!  The ride culminates with a 5-story splashdown.  It is the best way to cool down on a hot Florida summer day!  This thrill ride has a minimum requirement of 40 inches.

2.  Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater

The whole reason Walt Disney World Resort exists in the first place is because of a mouse, Mickey Mouse!  It is so much fun to watch kids and kids at heart give a great big hug to the one and only Mickey!

So you’ve been on Space Mountain, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, had a Dole Whip and met Mickey Mouse, what’s left for you to do?  Finish off your magical day with the most amazing fireworks display you’ve ever seen!  Happily Ever After will have you singing along with your favorite Disney songs as you watch Cinderella Castle transform into some of the most iconic movie scenes right in front of your eyes!  It is our number one must do because even the most casual Disney fan can’t help but be moved by how beautiful everything is all around you!
