5 Ways to Make the Most of Your Visit to Disney World!

One of the best things about Walt Disney World Resort is that it has something for everyone!  It is constantly changing and ever evolving which keeps bringing people back year after year!  Walt Disney World Resort has a way of bringing out the inner child in everyone!  Whether it’s your first time to Walt Disney World or your 10th time here are 5 ways to make the most of your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

5.  Expect the Unexpected!

Many guests who are booking and planning their Walt Disney World vacation are most likely planning it 6 months to even a year in advance.  They’ve watched every Disney vlogger on YouTube, read tons of blog posts, pinned every sweet treat, and made all of their FastPass and advance dining reservations.  They have every day planned down to the second.  However as the saying goes, “even the best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”  (Get it, of mice and men!)  So what do you do when your plans don’t go as expected?

Go with the flow!  On our last trip to Epcot we had planned out our entire day including our dining reservation, which was at the Mexico Pavilion at 8:00 P.M.  We were at the France pavilion and it started to pour!  This was no classic Florida passing thunderstorm though.  The pathways outside actually started to flood!  We took cover at the entrance to Impressions de France and saw Princess Aurora doing a meet-and-greet and taking photos with guests.  We decided to skip her meet-and-greet since we were absolutely drenched and waited for Impressions de France to begin.  We settled into our seats and were enjoying the movie when out of the blue we saw Princess Aurora kneeling next to our little girl!  “Shh!” she motioned with her finger up to her mouth telling us to keep her secret!  That thrilled our little girl, and might not have happened if we didn’t take cover from that terrible storm!  We ended up missing a FastPass reservation because of the storm, but we made a memory that will last a lifetime!

4.  Try Some New Foods!

While many people come to Walt Disney World Resort for the attractions, many also come for the delicious foods you can get around Walt Disney World Resort!  Sure you can treat yourself to a classic Mickey pretzel, or you can try some cheeseburger egg rolls!  Guests visiting Epcot throughout the year may find themselves at one of the many festivals featuring amazing food from all over the world!
