The Epcot International Food & Wine Festival has begun for 2019 and we couldn’t be more excited! There are so many tasty foods and beverages we are looking forward to trying at Epcot! We thought we would compile our bucket list foods and beverages for this year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival! Let’s dig in!
Hawai’i – near Refreshment Port
Our first stop will be at Hawai’i located near Refreshment Port! Here, I am really looking forward to trying the Kāalua Pork Slider with sweet-and-sour DOLE pineapple chutney and spicy mayo!

Also, at this stand is the AULANI Sunrise with vodka, Dole Pineapple juice, and grenadine. Pineapple is my absolute favorite fruit and these two items look simply amazing!
The Donut Box – near Test Track

Our next stop is the Donut Box! This is located near Test Track and has sweet treats for the hole family! I know my kids will love the Strawberry Smoothie made with Blue Diamond Almond Breeze Almondmilk topped with a strawberry-dusted yeast donut hole! I’m looking forward to trying the Central 28 Beer Company Boston Cream Donut Ale!
Mexico – at the Mexico pavilion
We can’t wait to try some unique beverages over at the Mexico booth! The Smoky Margarita sounds so intriguing! It features Mezcal Ilegal, pineapple-ginger juice, agave nectar, 100% agave tequila and Ancho Reyes Liqueur served on the rocks with a spicy salt rim! Might have to get two of these honestly! I also can’t wait to sample the Mexican Sangria which has red wine, blackcurrant liqueur, citrus juices, strawberry pureé and rum! My mouth is watering just writing about it!
India – near China pavilion

We definitely want to head over to the India booth which is located near the China pavilion to try the Warm Indian Bread! It is served with sides of pickled garlic, mango salsa, as well as coriander pesto dips! It seems to be a generous portion, perfect for our family of 5 to share! We also want to sample the Mango Lassi which is available in both alcoholic & non-alcoholic versions!
China – at the China pavilion

We can’t pass up a chance to head over to the China pavilion and try some unique offerings there! My daughter is a huge fan of dumplings so I know she will definitely want to give the Chicken Dumplings with Chinese Slaw a try! I really want to try the Mango Bubble Tea which is non-alcoholic as well as the Kung Fu Punch and Year of the Piggy, both sweet alcoholic drinks!
Africa – near Refreshment Outpost
We have seen tons of people absolutely rave about the Kenyan Coffee Barbecue Beef Tenderloin at the Africa booth located near the Refreshment Outpost. That is something we are really excited about trying!
Germany – at the Germany pavilion

Heading over to the booth at Germany we are going to have a little dessert! Here, I can’t wait to try the Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce! I love apple strudel, in my opinion, it is the perfect fall dessert! We might have to get two of these, one for me and one for my family!
Spain – between Germany and Italy pavilions

Located between the Germany and Italy pavilions is the food and wine booth for Spain. Here, my husband is excited to try the Spanish-style Paella as well as the Seafood Salad with shrimp, scallops, and mussels!
Italy – at the Italy pavilion
While my husband enjoys the paella, the kids and I will head over to the Italy booth for some comfort food! Here we plan on dining on Ravioli Carbonara and Pollo (Crispy Chicken with Marinara Sauce)!

We will definitely have to grab some Traditional Sicilian Cannolis to finish off the meal. I’ll need to get an Italian Margarita with Limoncello and tequila for me!
Hops & Barley – at The American Adventure

Speaking of comfort food, I am really excited to step into Hops & Barley at the American Pavilion to try the New Brunswick Slider! It is a slow-braised beef brisket with crispy fried onions on a potato roll and it looks so yummy!
Also, available at this booth is a large selection of beer and wine, but I would like to try McKenzie’s Black Cherry Hard Cider at Block & Hans booth! Sounds like the perfect pairing to me!
Belgium – between the France and Morocco pavilions

Next up is the Belgium booth for some more sweet treats! Here is the infamous Golden Malted Belgian Waffle which is available with warm chocolate ganache or berry compote and whipped cream! Again, we will probably have to get a few of these because I definitely don’t want to share these delicious treats with anyone else!
Canada – at the Canada pavilion

Who can pass up Canada and all of the amazing things available here! We are huge fans of Le Cellier and can’t wait to have the Le Cellier Wild Mushroom Beef Filet Mignon as well as the Canadian Cheddar Cheese and Bacon Soup!
Appleseed Orchard Cider & Wine Bar – near Le Cellier Steakhouse

Located inside the circle-vision 360° theater, while it undergoes a transition to a new movie, are the Appleseed Orchard Cider Bar and Appleseed Orchard Wine Bar. You will find a large selection of wines and beers as well as Caramel-Apple Popcorn! My daughter loves popcorn so much so you can bet we will be getting this quite a bit!
I am not a huge wine or beer drinker so I am really looking forward to trying the Apple Blossom Sky, which is described as apple Fanta, ginger beer, Floodwall Apple Brandy, Burton’s Maplewood Farm Applejack Brandy Aged syrup and mini marshmallows. I think it sounds like heaven in a glass!
The Cheese Studio and The Chocolate Studio – at Future World West

Next up are the Cheese Studio and Chocolate Studio, both located at Future World West! While everything here sounds simply amazing, I’m going to limit my family to one savory dish, the Braised-Beef Stroganoff, and one sweet treat, the Dark Chocolate Raspberry Tart with whipped cream! I’m sure these booths will be a family favorite by the end of our time in Epcot and we will definitely be repeat customers!
The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar Hosted by GHIRARDELLI – near The Land pavilion
Last, but certainly not least, we plan on visiting the Chocolate Experience hosted by Ghirardelli for the GHIRARDELLI Drinking Chocolate! I have had drinking chocolate before but never Ghirardelli, I can only imagine how amazing this will be and will definitely not be sharing this with anyone!
A Few Side Notes
We are visiting Walt Disney World for three days in November and are planning on visiting Food & Wine for a few hours every day. We are a family of five and did not purchase the Disney Dining Plan for this trip as we want to enjoy the delicacies around Food & Wine. We are tentatively planning on putting aside $200 on a Food & Wine gift card for this trip just for the festival. We plan on bringing some cash as well as we’ve heard once a while the electronic system does go down and can only make cash transactions. The most important things we are bringing are a good attitude and hungry bellies!
We can’t wait to experience Walt Disney World this fall and will publish a follow up post with all of our thoughts on everything we experienced at the 2019 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival so keep an eye out for that post!
