The celebrity narrators are set for the 2019 Candlelight Processional at Epcot! Disney announced a wide variety of celebrity narrators for the Candlelight Processional, which runs from November 29 to December 30, 2019!
The Candlelight Processional hosts celebrity narrators that tell the story of Christmas. It is accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra at the America Gardens Theatre. Show times are 5:00 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:15 PM.
The celebrity narrators for this year’s Candlelight Processional are:
November 29 to December 1: Ming-na Wen
You may know her from: Ming-na Wen is an actress who has starred in TV shows, films, and voiced various animated characters. She voiced the Disney princess, Mulan, in the films Mulan (1998), Mulan 2 (2004), and reprised her role as Mulan in Ralph Breaks the Internet. She also stars as Melinda May in ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. She was awarded with the Disney Legends Award at Disney’s D23 Expo in 2019.
December 2 to December 5: Neil Patrick Harris
You may know him from: He is an actor, singer, and magician known for many roles including Doogie Howser, MD, and as Barney on How I Met Your Mother. He hosted many awards shows including Primetime Emmy Awards, Tony Awards, and the 87th Academy Awards.
December 6 to December 7: Whoopie Goldberg
You may know her from: She is an actor, comedian, and television host known for many roles such as Ghost, Sister Act, and The Color Purple. She is currently the moderator on ABC’s The View.
December 8 to December 10: Isabella Rossellini
You may know her from: Isabella is an actress, author, and model. She started her career as a model and became the exclusive spokesmodel for the cosmetic brand Lancôme. She has appeared in films and TV shows, most notably starring in the film Blue Velvet (1986).
December 11 to December 12: Chita Rivera
You may know her from: She is a dancer, actor, and singer staring in Broadway plays like West Side Story (1957) and Bye Bye Birdie (1960’s). She is the first Hispanic woman to receive a Kennedy Center Honors award and was also honored the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2009.
December 13 to December 15: Gary Sinise
You may know him from: He is an actor, director, and musician. He starred in movies such as Of Mice and Men (1992), Forrest Gump (1994), Apollo 13 (1995), and the television show CSI: New York.
December 16 to December 18: Pat Sajak
You may know him from: He is the host of the TV game show Wheel of Fortune which he has hosted for over 30 years.
November 19 to November 21: Warwick Davis
You may know him from: Warwick is an English actor and producer. He has starred in many films and TV shows, including Willow (1988), the Leprechaun films, Star Wars films, and Harry Potter films.
December 22 to December 24: Steven Curtis Chapman
You may know him from: He is a contemporary Christian singer and songwriter who has won multiple Grammy and GMA (Gospel Music Association) awards.
December 25 to December 26: Edward James Olmos
You may know him from: He is an actor, director and producer. He has starred in films and TV shows. He is best known for his roles in Stand and Deliver (1988), Battlestar Galactica, Blade Runner, and Selena.
December 27 to December 28: Marlee Matlin
You may know her from: Marlee is an actress and author. She lost the majority of her hearing at the age of eighteen months. She won an Academy award (Best Actress) for her role in Children of a Lesser God (1986). She has appeared in films and TV shows and has been nominated for Emmy Awards for her appearances in Seinfeld, Law & Order: SVU, and The Practice.
December 29 to December 30: Lisa Ling
You may know her from: Lisa is a journalist, author and TV personality. She is the host of CNN’s This is Life with Lisa Ling. She was a co-host of The View.
