The Villains After Hours Party is back at Magic Kingdom in 2020 by popular demand! This year’s event will take place after hours on select nights from February 7, 2020, through July 10, 2020. Attendees of the party can enjoy complimentary snacks and beverages like popcorn, Mickey Premium Bars, as well as Coke products, but what is even more fun are all of the specialty treats that are exclusive to this party and available for purchase! Let’s dig in!
First up at Casey’s Corner located near the hub on Main Street, U.S.A., the planets have aligned to give us two party exclusive treats inspired by everyone’s favorite Greek god, Hades!
Hades Hot Dog – This is an all-beef hot dog topped with buffalo chicken, diced celery, flaming cheese dust and topped with a spicy ranch drizzle on a black bun! Oh my, this looks out of this world!
Hades Temptation – To wash down that blazing hot dog is the Hades Temptation! This sweet frozen mocktail is a Cosmo-inspired drink featuring lemonade, violet syrup and a yummy gummy worm!
Main Street Bakery
At the Main Street Bakery, also located on Main Street, U.S.A., is the Locked Away Maiden grilled cheese sandwich!
Locked Away Maiden – This loaded grilled cheese sandwich is filled to the brim with pepper jack cheese, provolone cheese, tomatoes and bacon jam! It’s in the shape of a key, which is fitting since the ooey-gooey melty cheese is the key to this maiden’s heart!
At the Cheshire Café located in Fantasyland we have three party exclusive treats inspired by the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland!
Royal Majesty – First up is the Royal Majesty cake pop! This is a heart shaped strawberry-filled cake pop that is dipped in delectable red chocolate and coated in matching red sprinkles!
Painting the Roses Red – Next, is the Painting the Roses Red cheesecake mousse with raspberry gelee, red cocoa butter, paired with sweet buttercream leaves!
Hearts on Fire – To wash down all of that deliciousness is the Hearts on Fire sweet drink! This is a fruit punch and Coke mix that also has popping candy, and is garnished with a strawberry on the rim!
At Storybook Treats also located in Fantasyland are two party exclusive treats inspired by the one and only wickedest witch of the sea, Ursula!
Body Language – This is a delightfully delectable cookies and cream mousse with a chocolate cake glacage, meringue tentacles and a chocolate shell! It looks a-ma-zing and something I would definitely trade my voice for!
Poor Unfortunate Soul – Also available here is the Poor Unfortunate Soul drink which features divine black berry soft serve ice cream over Cherry Coke and topped with a sugar crown!
At Gaston’s Tavern located toward the back of Fantasyland is the Five Dozen Eggs Slush!
Five Dozen Eggs Slush – While it doesn’t actually contain five dozen eggs, it does contain frozen custard with brown sugar and is topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a cinnamon stick!
At Sleepy Hollow located in Liberty Square are two spectacular sweets inspired by Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog!
Just Take Three – This is our first treat and I have to tell you, even the Shadow Man himself couldn’t keep me from enjoying this! There are not 1, not 2, but 3 count ’em, 3 beignets! This is the perfect treat to munch on alone or to share with your friends from the other side! It is served with vanilla ice cream and is topped with whipped cream and chocolate ganache!
Voodoo Magic – Last, but certainly not least, is the Voodoo Magic drink! It is a refreshing lemonade mixed with green apple syrup and garnished with a rock candy straw!
All these treats look so wickedly delicious! Which one are you looking forward to trying the most?
